RMS Beauty is a brand founded by Rose-Marie Swift, a celebrity makeup artist with over 20 years of experience in the New York fashion industry. Her goal was to create the ultimate makeup line for health-conscious and fashion-forward individuals. We spoke with Rose-Marie to learn why she started her brand and how natural makeup can enhance skin health.

Why was RMS Beauty created?

After undergoing extensive health tests, I discovered that my body had extremely high levels of toxins – heavy metals, pesticides, and other harmful substances commonly found in cosmetics. After years of restoring my health, I realized that the beauty industry needed a change. This led to the creation of RMS Beauty – a brand that combines purity and performance.

How do RMS Beauty products affect the skin?

My innovative cream-based formulas are free from harmful chemicals and instead nourish and heal the skin. Every product is crafted with raw, organically grown ingredients, preserving their natural nutritional value.

Ingredients like raw coconut, cocoa, and shea butter, as well as the highest quality cold-pressed jojoba oil, protect and hydrate the skin. RMS Beauty does not use steam-distilled essential oils, which can cause allergic reactions and long-term skin dehydration. We believe essential oils should be reserved for therapeutic use rather than daily skincare.

Can the beauty industry do more to promote healthier products?

Celebrities and models work in an industry dominated by conventional beauty products, but more and more of them are educating themselves about natural alternatives. Unfortunately, many hesitate to publicly advocate for healthier products, fearing career repercussions. However, those who do support clean beauty are making a significant impact, and I truly admire them.
